An adult porn actor, whose name and gender have not been released, has tested positive for HIV at a California Clinic.

Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation spokeswoman Jennifer Millers says the clinic is working to notify individuals that may have been affected.

AIMH is a San Fernando Valley clinic that was “created to care for the physical and emotional needs of sex workers and the people who work in the Adult Entertainment Industry.”

Last year, a woman tested positive for HIV immediately after making an adult film, and in 2004, an HIV outbreak affecting several actors briefly shut down productions at several California studios. (AP)

Troy Kaczor,  40, did not get his goose, however police got Kaczor’s goose on Thursday at Big Bull Falls Park in downtown Wausau.

Kaczor  jumped into the icy cold Wisconsin river to catch a goose.  He told officers he wanted to catch and roast the bird.  Instead the man was overcome by the frigid waters and had to be rescued by Wausau firefighters.

Police said the man had been drinking and was arrested on an outstanding warrant for bail jumping. (WausauDailyHerald)

Kaczor did not eat roast goose for dinner, however I am sure the Marathon County Jail, where he was taken, had a special meal waiting for him.

$50k Bond set for man who steals ambulance with paramedics treating a patient

October 12, 2010 1 comment

Jimmy McCoy (27) of Chicago was charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle on Saturday around 11:30 a.m., when he stole Ambulance 23 with emergency personnel treating a patient inside.  His bond was set at $50,000.

The ambulance was cut off a few blocks away by Fire Truck 26 who responded to a call that paramedics radioed they were inside of an ambulance that had been stolen.

According to AP, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said McCoy “allegedly jumped into the stopped ambulance and drove off with the emergency lights on.”

Emergency workers told police “they were attending to a diabetic patient in the rear of the ambulance when they felt the ambulance begin to move,” Cheronis said in court. “He was driving his friend to the hospital.”

McCoy allegedly told officers he “thought he could get to the hospital quicker’’ than the ambulance workers, police said. (suntimes)

Prosecutors said McCoy apparently thought he was driving his diabetic friend to the hospital.

The patient who was being evaluated by paramedics was eventually transferred to another ambulance and taken to a hospital in a non-life-threatening condition, Langford said.

New Zealand television host Paul Henry resigns after mocking of an Indian name

Paul Henry [ex-host of ‘Breakfast’ in New Zealand

Ex “Shock Jock” of New Zealand television show “Breakfast” TV One (TVNZ) Paul Henry resigns after mocking the name of New Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Henry’s comment sparked a diplomatic protest of racism.  His remarks were viewed as insensitive and inappropriate.

Henry remarked, “the dip shit woman. God, what’s her name? Dick Shit. Is it Dick Shit … it looks like ‘Dick Shit’. It’s so appropriate, because she’s Indian, so she’d be dick-in-shit wouldn’t she, do you know what I mean? Walking along the street … it’s just so funny.”

After his comments received national attention, Henry said

“I am astonished and dismayed that my comments have created a diplomatic incident. I walk the finest of lines and accept that I have inadvertently crossed it from time to time. I do not want to be the lightning rod for racial disharmony in this country.” (OneIndia)

“It is also difficult for Television New Zealand to get on with the business of being a first-class broadcaster as long as I remain on the staff … no longer practical in the current environment for me to do the job I was employed to do,” he said in a statement.

New Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit surname means “one who has received religious initiation” and it can be kept only by Brahmins, the highest, priestly caste among Indians. To an untrained ear, however, its pronunciation is similar to English profanity. (AP)

New Zealand’s prime minister does not feel the comments of Henry will impact his country’s relationship with India.

“People should recognize that broadcasters and commentators say things all over the world, and if we took offense to those comments all the time, we’d cease to have any diplomatic relations,” New Zealand Prime Minister John Key told reporters.

2 arrested in anti-gay beating at famed NY gay bar

October 6, 2010 2 comments

The Stonewall Inn

Sunday two men walked into the Stonewall Inn, heralded as a power symbol of gay rights movement, in New York and beat and allegedly robbed a man in the bathroom.  One man (Matthew Francis) beat the man, while the other man blocked the door.  Both men were arrested.  The Stonewall Inn is located at 53 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014 at 7th Avenue South.

What would make Matthew Francis walk into a gay bar and batter a patron?

“I don’t like gay people. Don’t pee next to me,” Francis said, according to the prosecutor.

Was this a hate crime?

“Mr. Francis is not a violent person. Nor did he try to rob anyone,” said the attorney, Angel Soto. “There may have been a fight, but it certainly wasn’t a hate crime.”

Owner, Bill Morgan of Stonewall Inn wrote in an email

“We at the Stonewall Inn are exceedingly troubled that hate crimes like this can and do still occur in this day and age. Obviously the impact of these men’s violent actions is even deeper given that it occurred on the premises of the Stonewall Inn.”

“Even in a bar like the Stonewall Inn, which started a huge part of the gay rights movement — even the Stonewall Inn is not immune to this sort of violence, despite all of the work that they do to create a safe and tolerant atmosphere,” executive director Sharon Stapel said. “It’s incredibly sad.”

This attack comes on the heels of Friday night’s attack on several men in Manhattan.
