John Stamos wants to be heard in court for a conspiracy trial

Singer, musician and actor John Stamos, who plays a doctor on the Fox’s hit musical show “Glee”, wants his statement read in an extortion case next week.

Stamos will not be able to attend the sentencing of Allison Coss (Stamos has known since 2004) and Scott Sippola, who tried to extort $680,000 from him.

Coss and Sippola were found guilty in July for trying to extort money from Stamos by threatening to show embarrassing photos of him that could mar his reputation.  FBI says there were no photos.

Prosecutors are requesting that a judge allow them to read Stamos’ statement during the sentencing.
