Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are proud parents

Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenny are proud parents of a bouncing baby boy.

A spokeswoman for the couple says Olson gave birth to Alex Lee McElhenney at home in the Los Angeles area Wednesday. He weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces – and forced his parents to miss a Philadelphia Phillies victory.

Olson said she went into labor during a Phillies-Dodgers game.  The couple stayed until Phillies’ player Ryan Howard hit a three-run homer.  The game took place in LA on Tuesday night.

The  proud couple hit a home run of their own with the birth of Alex Lee McElhenney.

Olsen and McElhenny both star in “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”  on FX.  McElhenney is also the creator-producer of the show.
