Woman faces multiple drug charges for adding cocaine to her bank deposit

The following story breathes new life into checking your list more than once.  I am pretty sure Kendl Murphy wish she had double-checked to see if she removed cocaine from her deposit envelope before handing it off to a teller.

Police were called to Rockville Bank on Ellington Road in Connecticut, when a teller noticed a bag of white powder inside a deposit envelope.  The envelope was given to the teller by Kendl Murphy at the banks’ drive-up teller window.

The teller told Murphy to wait for her transaction to be completed and then notified authorities.

Police said the powder in the envelope tested positive for cocaine.

Murphy was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or day-care center.  She was released on a $1,000 bond.
